Description
The Studio Assistant supports the smooth day-to-day running of ITCH Media's studio, office, kit room and shoots. They ensure all shared spaces are well-organised, tidy, and fully operational, helping to create a productive and efficient working environment for the team.
With a good understanding of camera and lighting equipment, they oversee the booking, organisation, and maintenance of the agency’s kit, ensuring it is stored safely, logged accurately, and is in full working order before being sent out to use on set. Assisting with kit prep and being on hand to help when the team of filmmakers return from shoots.
They work closely with the Studio Manager and the Filmmaking team to provide hands-on support for shoots that are ITCH studio-based, whilst also being the go-to person for general upkeep in the office, ensuring all facilities and equipment are in good working order.
Also handling office repairs, restocking, and smaller IT tasks, including basic server admin and hardware support, they take pride in keeping the space in good working order, whilst also being an integral support for the filmmaking team.


Key Skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of camera and lighting gear.
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and server systems (training provided if needed).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours is essential, including early starts or late finishes to assist the filmmaking crew with equipment preparation or shoot de-rigs, alongside supporting broader studio requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams.
- Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable with manual handling and basic maintenance tasks.
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Maintain the organisation, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the office, studio, and
kit room.
Manage and oversee the kit booking system, ensuring all equipment is logged, maintained,
and ready for use.
Provide day-to-day operational and technical support to keep ITCH’s studio and facilities
running smoothly.
The day-to-day
Keep the office, studio, and kit room tidy, organised, and safe for all staff and visitors.
Manage the kit booking system, ensuring accurate tracking of equipment in and out.
Conduct regular kit checks, arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
Ensure all kit is safely stored, labelled, and easy to locate.
Restock office supplies, including kitchen and stationery items, as required.
Coordinate and oversee minor office repairs or maintenance work, liaising with contractors where necessary.
In charge of all items delivered to the office and supporting the producers with any returns
Organise and track all props.
Ensure all hired kit for shoots is packaged and returned safely to the client or rental company.
Support with small-scale IT tasks, including basic server admin and IT hardware setup.
Assist with in-office shoots, ensuring the studio is set up, prepared, and reset after use.
Provide first-line support for IT equipment, escalating to external support if required.
Help manage general storage areas to keep them organised and accessible.
Assist the Studio Manager with any operational or facilities-related tasks.
Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the studio and office spaces.
Provide first-line support for IT equipment and software, including Scoro, Hubspot, HiBob, and Google Workspace, escalating to external support if required.
Support the onboarding of new staff with workspace and IT setup
